Our Team
Darrin is the CEO and Founder of Firefly Telecom Consulting. Darrin has over 21 years of experience in telecom sales and technology. His career started as a Business Account Executive at Airtouch Wireless (which later became Verizon Wireless) in 1996. He continued at Verizon until 2009 as a Major Accounts Manager when he left Verizon to become Director of Sales and Procurement at Full Circle Wireless. After 3 successful years at Full Circle, Darrin started a new company called Firefly IT Asset Recovery, Inc. and shortly thereafter, its sister company, Firefly Telecom Consulting. Firefly IT Asset Recovery, Inc. became the leader in the wireless industry for repurposing used wireless equipment and shortly thereafter, in large part to its partnership with AT&T, Firefly Telecom Consulting became an industry leader as well. In addition to being an avid sports fan, Darrin and his wife Susan have 3 daughters and enjoy traveling on vacations during the summer, especially to Maui.
Atiyeh is the Chief Operating Officer for Firefly Telecom. Atiyeh brings over 20 years of sales and management experience across a wide array of industries. He has worked in telecom with AT&T as both a direct employee and as a trusted solution partner for 9 years. Atiyeh is passionate about the role of the trusted advisor and the transformative affect they can have on customers. His fresh perspective around the value of solution providers has helped transform Firefly into one of AT&Ts top partners. Outside of Firefly, Atiyeh spends his time with his family. His wife and two children give him balance and perspective. He and his wife enjoy music, travel, and the joy of watching their children see it all for the first time.
Aaron is the Chief Revenue Officer for Firefly Telecom. Aaron originally joined the Firefly team in February of 2014 as Regional Director for the Western Territory. Prior to Firefly, Aaron spent 4 years with AT&T, starting out in the Business Sales Leadership Development Program before becoming a Client Solutions Executive in Los Angeles. During his time at both AT&T and Firefly, Aaron has found success by becoming a true advocate for his clients and listening to their needs. With this mindset Aaron has been able to uncover issues, design, and deploy complex solutions for his customers that solve core business problems. Aaron now lives in Toledo Ohio where he enjoys being active and spending time with his wife Mandi and daughters Audrey and Alexis.
Steve is the Chief Technology Officer for Firefly Telecom and is responsible for the design and feasibility of all complex networks for our sales team across the country. Steve spent over 17 years with AT&T split evenly between direct sales and sales management and has won numerous awards for both individual and team success. Steve is known for his strong data skills and his innate ability to connect customer business issues with technology that AT&T provides. He also successfully uses his MBA trainings to predict customer issues to drive a true consultative approach driving a larger average sale than his former peer group. Outside of Firefly, Steve is a voracious reader and avid traveler who uses that time to provide enriching experiences with his family.
A southern California native, Steve joins the Firefly team as our Director of Operations. Steve began in the telecom industry in 2011 as a Dedicated Business Account Manager for AT&T. Managing a multi-million dollar portfolio of clients, Steve focused on building and deepening client relationships. With this client-centric attitude and a problem-solving selling approach he lead the nation in performance and was quickly promoted to the position of Technical Sales Consultant. In his new role, Steve focused on complex network designs and was in charge of staging the overall implementation of service. This rich experience with AT&T has led to a proficient understanding of their systems and processes, making Steve an ideal representative for the role. During his time away from the office Steve enjoys traveling and staying active by playing basketball and long distance running.
Derek is Regional Director – West. Derek has over 7 years of telecom experience in direct sales and management roles at AT&T. He has a strong background and deep understanding of the myriad of products and services that are offered in both wireless and wireline portfolios. Derek prides himself in taking a consultative approach to navigating through the various ways in which technology enhances everyday business needs. Outside of work, Derek enjoys traveling to new places, experiencing new cuisines, and staying active- to supplement his foodie adventures.
Tom is Regional Director Network, Southeast for Firefly Telecom. He brings over 35 years of sales and management experience in Information Technology and Manufacturing. Tom has worked in telecom with AT&T as both a direct employee supporting (Georgia and South Carolina) and as a trusted Solution Partner for 6 years. Prior to this Tom directed a Systems Integration company specializing in IT services & support, IP PBX systems, networking and security. His personable approach to business centers on what’s in a client’s best interest, understanding a client’s goals and challenges and designing solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Away from Firefly he enjoys spending time with wife and family. He is active in his church and enjoys historic preservation, antiques, painting, gardening, and sports.
Eddie is a Senior Solutions Architect for Firefly Telecom. Eddie brings 20 years of experience in sales engineering and technical selling. He excels at collaborating with c-levels and designing next gen business networks. Eddie has been an multi year award winning performer throughout his career and most recently at AT&T. He is a certified consultant of AT&T cyber security solutions and multi-site connectivity portfolios. With his past experience in mobility solutions, Eddie can design enterprise solutions covering wireless end users, network transport, connections to the cloud and secure the data on one platform providing a true end to end solution. Outside of Firefly, Eddie is a coach for multiple club sports, loves music and anything outdoors with his family.
Meet Vic, the Director of Wireless Sales at Firefly Telecom, with a stellar 17-year career that began at AT&T, where he excelled in Business Sales and Enterprise MidMarket. Rising to Client Solutions Executive II, specializing in AT&T Platinum Tier Clients. Today at Firefly, Vic drives long-term sustainability and client advocacy with his consultative approach. He’s known for crafting intricate wireless solutions that meet critical business needs, joining Firefly in August 2023.
Originally from Ohio, Vic now calls Fort Mill, SC, home, indulging in fishing, jet skiing, and boating. He passionately supports his wife’s venture, LegacySilverSupplies, while navigating her cancer journey. As a devoted father to Austin (7 yrs) and Alex (5 yrs), Vic also raises baby Quail Birds as pets and collects their eggs.
Vic’s true talent lies in solving client challenges, earning him 2 Summit Trophies and 2 Presidents Club trophies, most recently in 2021, consistently ranking in the top 5% for customer service and sales during his time at AT&T.
David is a sales Director that supports the Central Region. With over 20 years of Telecom experience, David has spent the last 15 years with AT&T directing Enterprise account teams across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. David is a graduate of the AT&T Leadership Development Program and holds a Masters in Telecommunications with specialty in Data Networking Systems from Denver University. David has a strong background and extensive understanding in both wireline and mobility solutions and prides himself in building strong customer relationships based on delivering best in class customer experiences. David and his wife Carolyn reside in Houston, TX with their 3 children. They enjoy family vacations skiing in the mountains and participating in sports with all their kids. No matter the season David can be found on the fields (or court) rooting on his children and even coaching when schedules permit, which is one of his biggest passions.
Zach is both the Operations Team Lead and Fulfillment Manager for Firefly Telecom. Zach joined the team in late 2014 to bolster our back end order support. Though Zach has a background in Urban Planning, he has quickly mastered the intricacies of AT&T and moved from a member of the operations team to the team leader. He keeps all parts of our backend operations running smoothly and ensures that our customer experience maintains the highest level.
Our Client Relationship Manager, Danny comes to us with over four years of wireless device sales experience and over 12 years of customer service experience with a degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara. His attention to detail combined with his dedication to customer service will help maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. He provides sales support for mobility sales representatives and customers. When not at Firefly, Danny enjoys being at the beach, going on hikes, and seeking new adventures.
Mark is a Quality Assurance Manager for Firefly, providing sales support to wireline accounts. Mark has over 29 years of experience working at AT&T in sales and customer sales support and has spent the last 6 years supporting some of AT&T’s top 500 accounts in the Signature Client group in wireline services. He brings a lot of experience working with customers on placing orders and providing great customer service. Mark graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Business Administration. Outside of Firefly, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports and is a big fan of the North Carolina Tarheels and Carolina Panthers.
Stuart is part of Firefly Telecom’s back end support team. He came to Firefly from the real estate industry with a degree in International Affairs from University of Colorado at Boulder. Since joining the team in 2018, he has helped the wireline team grow, providing excellent backend support. Outside of Firefly, Stuart enjoys watching and playing Basketball and is an avid Lakers and Colorado Buffaloes fan.
Brandon joined the wireline operations team after nearly 4 years of working in the operations department of Firefly IT Asset Recovery. His intuitive problem-solving procedures and team-oriented mindset make him a valuable member of the Solutions team. Aside from his technological prowess, he brings a refreshingly positive attitude to the customer service experience. In his free time, if he isn’t just at home watching Netflix, Brandon spends a lot of his free time writing, producing, and playing music.
